Is 24 weeks pregnant not far enough along for a 3d/4d ultrasound?

I have an appointment for a 3D/4D ultrasound and will be 24 weeks along at that point. Is that a little too soon to get one, or do you think it will be okay?

1. I think it will be fine. I think anything beyond 16 weeks is recommended?!?!
2. 24 weeks is a perfect time, I did mine at 20 weeks and was able to see everything perfect...Good Luck!
3. I think it should be fine. I had mine a little later and I'm glad I did. I went in at 27 weeks and got a few pictures but he wouldn't cooperate very well. So then I got to go back around 31 weeks and his face had filled out more and he looked so sweet. Comparing the 2 pictures there were actually quite a few differences, I was surprised. You can get it done whenever you want though! They are amazing either way!
4. I was told to wait till i was at least 28 weeks, but you dont want to wait to long. Call the place where you are going to get it done and see what they suggest.
5. I had a really big baby and my best pix were at 28 weeks. that was recommended to me, i went then, and they were great. they said bc he was bigger ( but not too big) they could get better close ups and detail!
6. Thats a really good time to go actually. It depends more of what you want to see.. I was told when I went for mine that if you go before 26 weeks, it's going to be very clear to watch baby's movements on screen because they still have quite a bit of space to move around. If you go after 26 weeks, then you get a clearer image of what your little ones features will be. It just all depends more so of what you are wanting to see :) congrats on your little one!
7. we had one at 16 weeks and it was amazing! they recommend coming in between 16-22 weeks for full body, 23-27 for partial, and 27-35 for face. so 24 weeks will work just fine. Be sure to drink LOTS of water every day for 1-2 weeks prior to your appointment, this will increase your amniotic fluid which in turn gives you much better images.
8. i had two done one at around 25 weeks and one at around 32 weeks. The one at 32 weeks was sooo much better becuase the baby had chubby cheecks and she was alot bigger so it was better to see kind of what she looked like
9. the earlier the better, we tried near the end of my pregnancy and there was too much baby and not enough fluid... So i think 24weeks is perfect..
