Why Do None Of My 3D DVD Movies Work? Final Destination 4 3D Worked Good At The Movies, But Not On DVD!?
Should 3D DVD Movies Work Just Like The Theatrical Versions?

- I haven't had good experiences with 3-D movies at home either. My suggestion is to watch it at night that way you don't have any glare on the TV and the room is dark like the theater. It works best when there is no glare and no other light in the room.
- As far as I know home 3D is not really feasible now. You can setup things like a projector or fancy computers with 3D graphics. But right now it just plain sucks But I the next 1-2 years Sony Wants all Blu-Ray players to have 3D support w/ firmware so we dont have to buy a new one(sorry lost the article)
- Right now most 3D movies at home use the old Blue/Red Lens cardboard glasses. The 3D is definitely not as great as what you would see at the theater. However, with so many 3D movies out or coming out, they are giving serious thought to improving the 3D experience at home. From what I've heard though, you'll still need a new HD FLAT PANEL TV that HAS 3D capability built in to it.
- 3d on dvd is not that great because they have to use anaglyph 3d. It uses the colors red and blue to give the 3d effect, therefore everything looks red and blue and the colors are distorted. This 3d format will never look like what they have in theaters. However, they are coming out with tv's and dvd's and equipment that can do other 3d formats that look just like theater 3d. Should be available in the fall. Problem, you television has to be compatible with all this 3d format stuff.
