do you think that i should get a 3d ultra sound?

My husband and i were thinking about if we should get a 3d ultra sound if anyone got one is it worth it to get one?

1. i had it done with my first child. VERY COOL!! It really knocked some since into that there is a baby inside me. It is expensive but you get alot of pictures and a video. I think if you have money to go ahead and do it. It will show you know your baby will look. When we did it, she kept putting her foot where the stick was. Very cute! Good luck :)
2. I had one with my first pregnancy. I was super excited and actually was pretty disappointed with it. The reason I was disappointed was because the placenta was over her face so you couldn't get a clear shot. There was always gook over her face in every picture. I found out later that the reason was probably because she had a short cord so it was right there in her face the whole time. If they had come out clearer I probably would have been happier with it. I saw other 3d ones for other women and they turned out pretty good.
3. I never have one done but my friend had her done at 26 weeks and she said it's worth the money. Good for it if you want. Good luck.
4. I got one to find out gender (since the cord was in the way during my 19 week scan). I honestly always found the 3d ones creepy and never wanted one. I hadn't planned to really pay attention to much during mine but it was amazing. It was only a quick 10 minute scan for gender but I still got a picture (she's sucking her thumb in it), she showed me a bunch of angles and stuff. It was amazing. I loved it. I want to go back for a longer one next month.
5. If you can afford it then go for it. They're amazing. Some places even make a DVD for you to take home.
