Will Titanic regain its #1 worldwide gross status after it is re released in 3D ?

Avatar is going to end up with 2.3 Billion after its done in theaters. Titanic is at 1.8 Billion now if you add in the mass amount it will make when released in 3D it bound to end back on top.

1. well, if they ADD on to the total gross, i think so. I can see it hitting another 600 Million Worldwide... but you should rethink this - closest movie was LOTR triliogy... if he re-releases that in 3D, then forget about it! that series will make a KILLING in 3D.
2. Well to be fair, they can't add the amount it makes in 3D to the original. If they could then EVERY film maker would re release their movies in 3D to get some extra money.
