Do Imax 3D and regular 3D movies use glasses polarized at 45/135, 0/90, or circular?

I want to buy some clip on polarized glasses to better fit my prescription glasses. I saw a lot of ghosting at Avatar with the glasses they supplied over my Rx glasses - and got a headache. They sell several kind. Which one is right for the movies?
