Avatar or Avatar 3d is it worth the extra costs to see the movie in 3d? There is Imax 3d and then there is?

Is it worth paying extra to see Avatar 3d. THere are two different types of 3d one is showing in Imax and the other is showing in regular movie theaters does that make any difference?

1. I highly recommend you to see it in 3D, the only way to see and appreciate this visually stunning film. I would suggest seeing it in IMAX 3D but I kinda doubt you can find a theater that's not sold out. IMAX is bigger screen, better resolution and quality sound. Superior to traditional theaters.
2. there is only one other movie ive seen in a long time that' in 3D it feels so real.. that was Christmas Carrol.. the Snow looked like you were gonna be burried in it. this feels the same way
3. i watched it in 2d and it was so fantastic it must be better in 3D.
4. I saw it in 2D today and it was visually stunning, seeing it in 3D is probably worthwhile if you can afford it (in my country we have "half price Tuesday", so maybe check it out then if you can...) If it's a choice between the Imax or regular cinema, go IMAX, huge screen...
5. i saw it yesterday! in 3D it was AWESOME it costs me 11.50 dollars it was expensive but worth it
6. absolutely!! avatar 3d was without a doubt the best movie of all time, and im a tough critic. i think the imax would be even cooler, dont be stingy, this is the star wars of our generation. go for it
