Is this true(about 3d tv's)?
i found this site that says that the current samsung unb8000 and 7000 series led tvs can support 3d tv and can actually convert 2d to 3d, is this true because i thought 3d tv's had not come out yet??

- Well yes 3d ready televisions have come out. If you go to best buy some of them will say 3d ready. That is because they are 120 hz and can receive a 120 hz signal and therefore can do a 3d movie that use the field sequential 3d with the shutter glasses. However, you are still going to have to have a 3d movie get to that tv. So you will need a convertor box or a dvd player that can deliver the 3d signal to it. Will they provide all that stuff in the fall, don't know. They may just come out only with the stuff built into the 3d tv's coming out in the fall, or they may provide some kind of convertor box to plug into these tv's as well. I am thinking that since they have already shipped these 3d ready televisions they will provide somehow to use them. you just can't yet. Unless you get the geforce system from nvidia but that is for 3d games and will only work through your computer. You can use the 3d ready televisions for that, just not for a dvd player right now.
