Can not start up world of warcraft and cannot start up 3D acceleration?

I downloaded windows 7 ultimate on my pc and when ever i try to start up wow it won't work it says Unable to start up 3D accelerator please make sure all your drives are up to dat or you have directx 9c or higher.
