How much does a 4D scan cost to have done private?
My friend wants to have a 4D scan of her baby done, how much does this cost? Does it have to be private or is it available on the NHS?

- there is a place in harley street, £150.00 private, very good at what he does, sorry I don't have the number for him.
- you cant have a 4D scan done, unless you are a time traveller. There are only 3 Dimensions availiable.
- hi there, im not sure were your from but here in the uk you have to pay for them, depending on what package you have they can be all different prices, i think they range from £125 right upto about £230. i dont think you can get it on nhs as its a luxary. nhs offer the normal black and white scans! im having one done soon and im having the £175 package and you get a big pic, some small pics a dvd,and some keyrings. my sister in law had one and there really good. well worth the money! good luck(",)
- hi my friend had a 4d scan done a few mths ago i think you do have to go private! she went to manchester for hers and i think it cos about £300 ish
- My friend payed £100 up in Livingston uk for the scan. Personally i think it's a waste of money as she went for it one week & it didn't detect that she had pre-eclampcia & had to be induced 3 days after the scan.
- hi, im not to sure of the cost, i had one done but didnt get charged. i went to my normal 23 week scan and then at the end they clicked a button and BAM . . . i was looking at my babies face. to this day i dont know if i was at right place and right time or if there going to start doing it for everyone now. one thing i will say was that it was absolutly amazing. i go to medway hospital in kent.
- it depends on where you live and what package you choose (they offer different prices depending if you want pics, dvd, etc..) But they run around $ 200 more or less
- have a look on ebay my friend did and she had one done for just 65 pound and she is glad she did because she found out that her baby has got a cleft pallete, luckily she was only 30wks at the time so she has had plenty of time to get used to it and go through consultations about how to feed him etc. Well worth the money.
