Is buying 4D sonogram worth the money?

We are planning on spending $100 on 4D sonograms this weekend to see our baby. I am 8 months pregnant, and needed to know this money is better spent on something else!

1. At 8 months the baby is big and you can only get 1 body part at a time on the monitor. You wont see the full face either. I did it at 24 and 32 weeks and the 32 week one was a waste of money because the baby is just way to big.
2. Wouldn't you be the best judge of how much you want to know something? Come on, it's money - you can't take it with you.
3. If you can afford to blow the money...then go for it. Chances are though at 8 months you won't get clear pics. The baby is pretty bunched up at this stage. It all depends on you..is the 100 worth that chance?
4. Nope it was way worth it - I had mine done at 24 weeks and she smiled and laughed and grabed her toes and tried to put her fingers in her mouth - she was even practicing breathing - it was so exciting!! I am so glad I did it!! It was a lot of fun!
5. Everyone I know who has ever gotten a 4D really seemed to think that it was worth it. The woman I share an office with has some really cute pictures from her 4D in which her daughter looks like she's praying. They are really cute! I'm too cheap to get one done, though LOL!
6. I had the 3D done with my daughter for $160. I thought it was well worth the money. I found out 100% the sex, which I wanted know, and we got a video, and pictures, color and b&w of her. I thought it was so cool. I guess it depends on, how much you think it is worth and if you have the money to spend. Good Luck with the baby!
7. It would better spent at WAL MART, BABY R US, or in furniture....come on now your 8 months, whats 4 weeks to wait, and I am quite sure you have had the basic sonogram...
8. I love our pictures! This one is at 30 weeks we have another scheduled at 34 weeks.
