Does anyone know where I can buy 3D models molecules for Chemistry?
The 3D models molecules are made by plastic. You can use them to help you in studying. You can play around with them to help you understand about the molecules better.

- I don't know if you live near a branch of some college, but every college bookstore I've ever been in has them, that's where I got mine for OChem. Of course, you can also buy them from amazon.com, there are some links below.
- I bought some for my son years ago in a toy shop.
- Hi. Depending on your need/audience, these places should have what you are looking for: http:// wardsci .com/ category .asp?c=768&sid=google&cm_mmc=google-_-cpc-_-ward-_-molecularmodel http://www. indigo .com/models/ orbit-molecular-model-kits .html http://www. harvardapparatus .com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_11051_10001_38198_-1_HAI_ProductDetail_37754____ http:// giantmolecule .com/ http://www. molecularvisions .com/ cat--Molecular-Model-Kits--kits .html http://www. 3dmoleculardesigns .com/ http://www. molymod .com/ http://www. zometool .com/ Good luck!
- You Should try to find out if there is a teacher supply store in your area. If not there is a store called United Art-their web site is- www.unitednow.com. You should be able to find it there.
- I am not sure from what company. Science Kit maybe has some. You could go to a craft store and get some wooden beads and make some.
- You might enjoy shopping the American Science & Surplus site at http://www.sciplus.com/index.cfm. They may not always have the same things all the time, but they also have things you didn't know you need. Personally, I enjoy just reading their descriptions of things. Their tagline is Incredible Stuff, Unbelievable Prices - they're right. Plus, having ordered from them, I can tell you their service is wonderful. Enjoy!
- Here's a good resource: http://www.sargentwelch.com/category.asp?c=26552&sid=google&cm_mmc=google-_-cpc-_-sgtw-_-moleculemodels I used models like that in chemistry class myself. There are also several good resources for creating online molecular models, including downloadable free software such as: http://www.nyu.edu/pages/mathmol/library/ http://www.umass.edu/microbio/rasmol/othersof.htm Despite the helpfullness of these tools advanced chemistry is still a very difficult subject and you'll no doubt need help to master it whether it be by your teacher or fellow classmates. BTW, chemical engineers are the highest paid graduates out of college these days. They are worth it. Chemistry is a very difficult subject to excel in...
