can havin astigmatism affect watching 3d movies at the theaters?

Ok so me my bf and our 2 kids have seen 3 3d movies allreasy and they allways are like oohh cool and I'm like what?? I mean I can se it a little but its not a lot and its not cool to me like my kids and my bf says. Id rather go see the movies in 2d than 3d. And my bf told me that its because my eyes suck lol so could that be the reason its not all that interesting to me?
