3D - 2

Is it possible to see 3D tv with only one working eye?

My mums blind in one eye and was wondering if there's a way she can see 3D again.

  1. I don't think so mate... unless there was some type of glasses where the two colours are kinda on top or next to each other in one lens. hang on - we are in the 21st century now. there's only one colour. sorry about your mother.
  2. No because in a 3d movie there are actually two films playing on the screen at the same time, giving you two images of everything, one for the right eye only and one for the left eye only. There two images are off set to the right and left of each other. Plus they are different distances to the left and right depending on how close or far they need to look. So if one eye is only looking at one image and the other eye the other image it causes the eyes to cross and uncross, just like in real life when you look at something real close or far away. So each eye is actually looking at slightly different spots on the screen. This is the only way you can get the 3d effect.
