How soon can I have a 4D ultrasound?

I am 5 months pregnant and considering a 4D ultrasound to determine the definite sex of my baby (in case our doctor can't) and to see him/her on screen. Is there a minimum amount of time I should wait to get this done?

1. Most clinics I've seen say the best time for 4D is between 26 and 34 weeks. However, if you're 20 weeks, it should be fairly accurate.
2. I had mine at 28 weeks but would recommend you do it closer to 32 if you want it for the pictures like I did. At 28 weeks they just weren't that great yet and she was still kinda skinny! If you just want it for the sex go ahead! Good luck!
