Wondering what the best time to have a 4d ultrasound?

Hi all i was wanting to book a 4d ultrasound to see my LO. Im 24 weeks pregnant at the moment and cant wait to have one done. Anybody have any experience with them? Or what would be the best time to have one done?

2. I want to say the place we had ours done at said the best time was between 26-32 weeks. We had 2 done, 1 at 27 weeks and on at 30 weeks and the 1st was definitely much better (the baby was less crowded and moved around more). We'll be doing it again around that time with this baby so my son can see it. :-)
3. A friend of the family has a 4d ultrasound studio and he recommends between week 24 and week 34. Doing the ultrasound before week 24 wouldn't let us appreciate facial features and after week 34 it becomes a little more difficult to get the baby to fit in the screen. He personally told me that around 27-28 weeks work would be good for me.
4. When your 30+ weeks, you can see all they're little fat. They're still kinda skinny & wrinkly in the 20's.
5. My doctors office reccomends that if you want to get one done to do it at 24 weeks.
6. hi congrats btw we had a 4d scan done when i was 27 weeks and it was amazing the best experience of my whole pregnancy.you could see his facial features and he looks just like my daughter. when i booked my scan the lady reccomended to go between 26 and 29 weeks pregnant although they did shay they could do it earlier and later in the pregnancy but the times for best results would be between 26 and 29 weeks. good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and enjoy the scan we got a dvd and my daughter loves to sit and watch her baby brother on the screen she makes up little stories about what hes doin even though he does the same thing every time she watches him lol
7. I had mine done last night im 28 weeks at the moment, the place i get mine done starts scanning at 24 weeks up to 30 weeks, so book away id say
8. Well,as you can probably tell by my profile pic i recently had a 4d scan..and it was absolutely Fab..you certainly won't regret it!!. The actual sonographer at my hospital said to obtain the absolute best 4d scan,image wise,it is best to arrange it for when you are around 30-32 weeks. If you have one before this,obviously things may not be so clear and definate..Have one later than this and the baby can be a little too large for you to capture much movement and define features and limbs etc. I know it means waiting another 5 or so weeks but believe me it is well well worth it and you wont regret a minute of it!!.
