  1. go to file export choose 3ds format if not available export in iges(.igs) format
  2. Any version of sketchup prior to 7.1 can import autocad (.dwg .dxf) files directly. When the Google sketchup team decided to take this functionality out of the free version when they released v7.1 they knew that they would make a lot of people real mad. So, to deflect our utter disgust with them they gave us a plugin for sketchup that will allow us to re-enable this functionality for any current/future versions of sketchup 7. Beware though that this plugin is not supposed to work with sketchup 8 and above (when they are released) Here is a link to Google's download that will enable you to import autocad files directly: http://sketchup.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=161784
  3. You can always use an OBJ format..
