making a 3d model of a house?

we have a math project where we create our dream house & it must have certain elements. **2bedrooms , 2 bathrooms,1 kitchen ,1 garage & a living room. now i did all of that already..i have the designs & everything. i just need help on doing the model creation of it.it says we can use Styrofoam,cardboard,Popsicle sticks or anything. any ideas or pics on which would be better? i was going to use popsicle sticks & then put clay on it 2 make it harden & decorate it from there but i dont know.

1. you can use plywood and paint it..its usually sturdy too
2. Foam board is great for model making, you can get it in craft and art shops. It makes sturdy walls, with a certain wall like thickness in scale. I draw the plan out first on tracing paper, put it on the foam board, then cut the floor out around it. The marks should leave where the walls go. It's a quite easy and precise method.
