How do you make a 3D blueprint from a 3D model?

I have a 3D model of my house and want to make a blueprint of it. I know how to make blueprints, but only from one angle of something(I mean like a photograph), and I want to make a 3D blueprint you can move, and kind of navigate through it. Like they have in CSI or stuff like that... Thank You Very Much ... .. . I mean like give a 3D model a blueprint effect... maybe in a free software... You shoud be able to move around in the blueprint... Thanks

  1. What you see on CSI is a 3d motion capture of a 3d model. 3d CAD programs can do it, but you draw it from scratch, not from a 3d model.
  2. Hello 1 Download the Program Download the 3D Home Architect program. You can find a free version of the 3D Home Architect program online on the Download.nl website (See Resources Below.) On the main page, download the program. The program will begin to install onto your computer. right away. You can also purchase the full version on the 3D Home Architect website. Step 2 Open a New File Once you have installed the 3D Home Architect program, open a new design file by clicking on the "File" tab at the top of the top of the page. When the drop down list appears, click on the word "New." The screen will turn white, indicating that your design file is ready to use. Step 3 Draw the Walls Draw out the walls for your 3D home design. Click on the wall icon at the top of the screen, which appears to look like the side of a wall. Click onto the screen, and hold down the mouse button to drag a wall segment on the screen. As you draw, the dimensions of the wall will appear, allowing you to better estimate the size of your 3D dwelling. Draw out all of the exterior and interior walls. Step 4 Insert Utilities and Furniture Insert the utilities, electrical outlets, and furniture into the 3D blueprints. At the top of the screen you can click on an icon of a toilet to insert appliances and utilities, such as dishwashers and furnaces. Click on the icon of a chair to insert furniture, such as tables and beds. Click on the icon of an electrical outlet to insert outlets and light switches. Step 5 Add a Roof Add a roof to your 3D blueprints by clicking on the icon of a roof at the top of the screen. When a new window appears, select the pitch of the roof and the material that the roof will consist of. When you are finished, click "OK" and the roof will appear on your home design. Step 6 Bring Your Plans to an Architect Consider bringing your 3D blueprints to a certified architectural firm, or building codes inspector. An architect or inspector can look over your blueprints and give their stamp of approval, allowing you to use your 3D blueprints to build your custom home. Hope this helps Thanks
