do we really need to buy a 3D HD TV to see 3d games or movies on the ps3?

i was just watching videos for filmware upload for the ps3 to b able to watch blue-ray hd movies and to play video games .. do u really have to buy a 3d hd tv bc ur downloading a 3d update fore the ps3 so is true or not?

1. you need a hd tv of some sorts for it to be really worth buying.
2. Yes. If your TV cannot play the 3D signal you will not be able to watch movies or play games in 3D.
