how do i improve the sound on my samsung 3d blu ray player?

i recently purchased a new 3d tv and it came with the 3d blu ray player. when i am watching the tv the sound is fine and having the volume around 20-25 is good. however when i watch blu rays on the player i have to crank the volume up to the 90's to hear what is going on. I am using a hdmi cord to connect the two. So how do i improve the sound for my blu ray movies? Both pieces are made by samsung
