3D Animation?

Can anyone tell me the best software for making short 3D movies? (20-30 minutes)

1. I personally use Lightwave 3d from Newtek Its used in alot of TV shows and Movies, and is very powerful software. Only problem is, its kind of a bear to learn, and its kind of expensive. Once you get the hang of it though its a breeze to fly through. Other options are: Maya, 3d Studio Max and theres a couple others, there is a free 3d program called Blender, but I havent had much luck with it. Good luck!
2. i have worked with 3D studio max and lightwave. i like 3D studio max. Try it and Let me know which one u like it.
