Why would anyone pay over 2000 for 3D television?

The HDTV television is good enough! Why would people be idiots to spend that much money just to watch stuff in 3D? 3D isn't all that great!

2. HDTV is a scam too. If a super wide screen has the SAME resolution as a mere laptop, there's got to be something wrong, and that something wrong is called interpolation. HDTV screens fake the values of the millions of missing pixels, sometimes with some clever algorithms, but they're still faking it. 3D is just the latest ruse to get consumers to spend on technology that's actually been around for decades... As they say, a fool and his money are soon parted.
3. Maybe you just don't see the 3d effect as well. The problem with 3d for some people is that the 3d looks more flat to them but still can have some depth to it, while to someone else it really pops out to them. For me the 3d looks really good and my eyes adjust to it really well. When I saw the 3d tv at best buy there was a huge difference from a 2d screen compared to the 3d screen. It really stands out for me. I would buy a 3d tv because it really works for me.
