1. When prices come down and when there is actually a lot of 3d-made movies, and tv programs that are worth watching.
2. 6 to 12 months you have to let the Technology catch up first they tend to release a basic version first then over the months they upgrade and bring out more improved versions. and you get your moneys worth there and don't miss out.

4. about 12 -18 months from know when the prices drop by about $1000 or more that will be when more companies get them on the market
5. When there not so expensive and the technology takes off Kinda like when everyone got HD DVD players and Blue ray won the battle. But hey if you have $2000.00+ US to blow on a tv go for it make sure you get one with a free 3D starter kit or plan on buying that too. Does look good though I saw a demo at my local electronics store.
