Poll: Anyone else think these 3D televisions are way overhyped?

I recently went to Best Buy and experienced a Samsung 3D television. It just wasn't that great. The color (like most big screens in theaters do) is faded and just makes the screen darker, and is also completely distracting. Has anyone else experienced a 3D television? What did you think of it?
