- It sounds like your other movies are in 3D anaglyph format, and not Blu-ray 3D (alternate-frame sequenced 3D). Anaglyph 3D can be viewed on any TV (no 3D TV or 3D disc player is required), and it is viewed by wearing color tinted, passive glasses (usually made of cardboard and cellophane). The color tint in the 3D image can not be removed or disabled, and that anaglyph image can not be converted into an alternate-frame format for true stereoscopic viewing on a 3D TV. Anaglyph 3D material can be found on VHS tapes, DVDs, and Blu-rays. Blu-ray 3D (alternate-frame sequenced 3D) can only be viewed on a 3D TV, with a 3D Blu-ray player. The "Monsters Vs. Aliens" Blu-ray that came with the Samsung starter pack is in alternate-frame 3D format. The only movie currently available on Blu-ray 3D as a standalone purchase is "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs": http://www.amazon.com/Cloudy-Chance-Meatballs-Blu-ray-3D/dp/B003M9ZA4W. Other Blu-ray 3D discs (Coraline, Ice Age 2) can only be acquired by buying 3D Blu-ray players or 3D TVs from other manufacturers (Panasonic, Sony). To add to the confusion, there is also an anaglyph version of "Coraline" on Blu-ray, in addition to the Blu-ray 3D.
