3D - 2

would this tv 32PFL6704D/F7 support 3d if i hooked it up through hdmi on my laptop with a gts 360m andacorei7?

Nvidea says all i need is a 120hz display because i have all of the requirements accept for that. so will this philips tv work? http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod1170342&navAction=push . or do i have to get something like this http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Displays/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-8846 that brags about the 3d technology? I have a Asus g51j series

  1. Nope.. That Philips TV does NOT support 3D. The 120Hz refresh rate for that Philips TV is for its motion-blur / dejuddering engine. It is totally different from being able to accept a 120Hz HDMI signal, which is what is needed for nVidia's 3DVision glasses. The Philips TV can only receive a standard 60Hz HDMI signal according to the manual: http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/3/32pfl6704d_f7/32pfl6704d_f7_dfu_aen.pdf Only TVs that can receive a 120Hz HDMI signal will work with nVidia 3DVision. Hope this helps.
