Do you need a 3d blu-ray player to watch 3d movies on the samsung 3d tv? is it multiregion?

im planning to get the 46 inch 8000 series 3d tv from samsung but dont know much about it. like if i need the 3d blu ray player and if it is multiregion. Im gonna get a samsung home theater with the 3d blu ray. and i saw the rechargable glasses that are 200 bucks whats the difference between those and the ones that come with the movie.
