The perfect time to get a 4d ultrasound?

My fiance says 8months I said if we wait that long we might as well wait until the baby is born. I say 6months. I really want to have a 4d one done cause my fiance wasn't able to go to the first one I had done. Oh I'm 24weeks

1. I've heard the best time is between 28 and 32 weeks. That way the baby is developed but not too big. I'm going to get mine done at about 28 weeks.
2. My insurance doesn't cover it, so we just had the "normal" one done. But, I've heard at 7 months is the best time.
3. I would say between 7 and 8 months so you can get the best possible picture of your beautiful little one. Then you two can fight over who he/she looks like more! :)
4. I was told around 28-32 weeks. Because the baby is a good size where they can get good pictures of him/her. Once you are past 32 weeks they can it can be hard to get more than just facial pictures of your baby because they are getting too big.
