Does the Samsung LED 3D TV need the 3D glasses used in the cinemas?

the black glasses that u ware in the cinema when watching 3D movies?? are those needed?!

1. No. That TV needs the special active shutter glasses that came with it. Nothing else will work.
2. no when those TVs were designed they were put out to eliminate need for such a thing. just be careful could cause you to walk right into it due to awesome graphics and quality on the tv.
3. To tell you the truth--I think this whole 3-D thing is overrated and stupid..You do need the glasses and they are quite pricey so if you have 5 guests you need 5 pairs...You gotta wear the stupid things and the novelty wears off quickly...I personally feel-its ahead of its time---and down the road we will perfect something that doesn't need the glasses....I would go for a conventional high-end Samsung with a 120hz refresh rate,,,Combined with a 5-1 home theatre you will be quite impressed without getting involved with a format that may not survive...
