Can you watch regular movies (Dvds and BluRay) in 3d or do you need to buy a 3d movie in order to watch in 3d?

1. The 3D program needs to have been originated in 3D. All 3D techniques rely on two images of the same scene. That doesn't happen with 2D programming.
