Does Imax or 3d Glasses from theater work with samsung or sony 3d tv?

2. If the 3D technology your TV utilizes is the 'high-speed-shutter' effect then no, you will need the special glasses. But if you're talking about some 3d movie you got on dvd, then that's the kind of thing that theater glasses would work with.
3. No, they are two completely different technologies. Imax and Real D 3D use a type of polarization, while the sony uses a very fast flickering screen and the glasses are high tech enough to switch form left to right insanely fast
4. No sorry, not even imax shutter glasses will be compatible with 3DTV.
