- no to both your questions, 3d is in the glasses unlike movie theaters the tech is on the screen you you need the battery glasses, only modles made for your tv will work as it has to do with calibrations to your set versus "other" who has slightly diffrent tech usage
- no you cant because each tv has a uv red laser hitting the glasses and they are connected to the tv with the small channels going through the lasers so that's what makes the 3d work on 3d tv's (that's only one part). no other model will work with your tv
- Your TV senses the 3D broadcast and has actively put itself into 3D mode. You need to put on shutter glasses made for your set. You are wearing passive glasses that don't work mechanically. as for purchasing 3d glasses for your TV, go by model and make to be safe. There are universal glasses out but they are the same price if not more expensive.
- The anaglyph 3d format which uses two colored glasses like red and blue will work on any color televisions, but you have a problem. If the video you are watching is not in the anaglyph 3d format they will not work. Red and blue glasses will only work with 3d in the red and blue format, green and magenta glasses will only work with video in anaglyph green and magenta, etc. Same with 3d channels. Those will only work with field sequential and polarized 3d televisions. You probably only have a field sequential 3d tv so you will need to have shutter glasses to view a 3d channel because you have that type of tv. Polarized 3d televisions will not be released until next year. Those use the tinted glasses that don't require glasses.
