how to import 3D Studio MAX files into photoshop?

Ive made a spaceship in 3D studio MAX and i need to import the spaceship into photoshop. how can i do this? i have autodesk 3ds max 9 and photoshop 7.0 if this helps

1. Sorry. Only the new Extended version can work with 3D files. You should buy the upgrade if you can. I believe it only imports .OBJ and .3DS
2. What exactly do you want to import? You can render your model to an image and then open it from Photoshop. It's recommended that you render it to a format that contains alpha (i.e. transparency) information, such as tga or tiff.
