What should I do About Purchasing A Camera?
I am looking to buy my first DSLR camera. I am looking for something that has to have HD video. The bonus of the HD video will be external mic and 30fps instead of 24fps or internal stereo mic. The cameras I have in mind are. Sony NEX-5 Samsung NX10 and the Canon 500D possibly the Nikon D5000... Which would be the best camera to buy keeping in mind the video functionality. Of course pictures a as important too. Shooting Landscapes mainly sunsets and urban (buildings) My budget is: £600.00 GBP €729.222 EUR Canon 550D may be out of budget but I do see it would be the best overall.

- If making videos is your priority, get a digital video camera. You won't be satisfied with the video feature of a dSLR. It's made primarily for still shots. For your purpose, you don't even need a dSLR at all. You can get spectacular landscapes by using a Sony Cybershot with a panorama feature.
- None of those cameras mention have all the features you mentioned. You will need to move up and get the Canon 550D, Pentax k7, or Panasonic GH1. Of the cameras mentioned, the Canon 500D and the Nex 5 are probably the closest to what you are looking for. http://cheapdslrprofessional.blogspot.com/
