where can i get 3d desktop (not 3d wallpaper) software ?

1. Erm... not quite sure what you mean but I'll hazard a guess. Are you looking for 3D modeling applications? If so I would have to recomend blender http://www.blender.org You really can't go wrong with blender its FREE =D! The only other thing I can think of is I recall something about "3D" desktops in windows vista I would guess its just a navigation system with a few snazzy graphics although I've never used vista so I'm not sure. You'd have to get windows vista if that is what you ment.
