have you ever paid so much money for a 3d/4d ultrasound and not get good results?

When I was pregnant with my 3 year old son I got a 3d ultrasound done his pictures where so clear and perfect allso the video I only spent 175$ because I had a coupon for a discount. I am now 28 weeks pregnant and 4 days and when I was 27 weeks I paid 225$ for a 4d ultrasound and wasn't so lucky this time. She let her self show for 11 minuts the video was a 30 min video then she turned all the way around and all the was showing was the back of her head lol and out of 30 pic I was givin only 4 where really good ones. The all would have ne good but there was some thing floating in her face most of the time it was by her mouth and made her face look weird. I got to see her face clearly for a couple of minuts she is cute! But that dang thing I think the umbelical cord kept getting in her face. Any ways my 30 min video only has the first 11 min of her showing her face and the rest the back of her head and some times part of her face the whole time the lady kept trying to make her turn over but it didn't work. So now I hurt lol money wise. Has this ever happened to any one else? Oh well at least I got to see my beautifull baby for 11 minutes

1. I had this happen to me but if they were not happy with the photos they got me to come back i ended up going there three times before she was happy.
2. That happened to my best friend, they had her come back in a few days, and then again in a week so they could get some good footage for their money! your place should offer the same!
3. There are usually a lot of disclaimers from the people who perform the scans, saying they are not responsible for the images you get as it's down to how stubborn the baby's being, also how much fluid is in the sack and how much fat the woman has between her and the baby. You are paying for someone else's time unfortunately so it'll be full price no matter what image you get! Did you go to the same place both times? I am looking at going for one soon, I have been reading up on many websites, and most state that if they can't get a nice baby picture for whatever reason they usually get the mother to do a little stretching or rolling around. Drinking cold water wasn't a recommendation but it often gets the baby to move! At least you got a lovely 11 minutes of a healthy little girl I'm sure the experience was very special. Maybe she just wants it to all be a surprise when she gets here :) and you can tell her off when she's older for not co-operating! xxx
