How come animated movies and 3D movies always get such a high rating?

I never could understand this. There is over 20 animated and 3D movies on IMDB's top 250, its like every one that comes out is up there for at least a year or so. All 3 Toy Stories are on there, out of all the thousands and thousands of good movies how did those 3 take up room on the best 250? Even on RottenTomatoes, they have Toy Story 2 as the best movie of all time.. Toy Story 1 is 4th best movie of all time.

1. Most of them are really good, most 3D movies do not get good reviews though
2. i don't think the toy story movies deserve to be that high up but those movies are pretty amazing. When i was little i remember EVERYONE wanted to see those movies. Then toy story 3 came out and everyone made a big deal out of it cause it's 3D. I haven't seen it yet but personally i don't like 3D movies. Besides Jackass. I can't wait til Jackass 3D comes out !! so excited !! oh and to answer your question... i have nooo idea. I've always wanted to know that to.
