Fix a "3d Sound" usb soundcard?

3 months ago I bought 3 "3d Sound" usb soundcards on evay for $10 each. I tryed 1 and it worked so I assumed all worked well so I left good feedback, now I tried the other 2 and they work but the sound is very bad, is there any way I can fix them myself?

1. get the latest sound drivers for the sound cards would be the first thing to do. It is possible the person who was selling the sound cards knew that 2 of the 3 cards were bad to begin with and sold it to you without telling you about the defects. Visually inspect the card for scratches, missing, chipped or bent pieces. This could cause the cards to have bad performance.
