Is a 1080p 120Hz DLP 3d television better than a LCD or LED?

- Way better than an LCD. About equal to an LED.
- In my experience, DLPs have an issue with viewing angle sensitivity, especially vertically. To maximize brightness, they use a special screen that directs light into a limited angle, especially in the vertical direction. Just try standing in front of a DLP and doing knee bends. You'll notice the brightness and contrst change significantly. I'm not crazy about DLPs for that reason. That said, the filter wheel in a DLP should make for a cheaper implementation of 3D, one that shouldn't need expensive active-shutter glasses, just polarized glasses. (I'm not sure if that's how they actually work, but it would make sense).
- DLP is a dead technology i will always pick plasma LED tv are LCD tv's just so you know the difference is the type of back lighting they use
