- no
- sadly no. you have to have a tv that's compatible with 3d format.
- Can't have 3D television without a 3D ready TV and a 3D source.
- Your regular HDTV is not set up for 3DTV. You need to buy a 3DTV to watch programs in 3D. Simple as that. Part of the issue is that there are actually two pictures being displayed on 3DTV. The glasses you buy with the TV are in phase with the two pictures that the TV displays... the glasses essentially flicker at speeds too fast for the human eye to detect. This flickering affect tricks your eyes into seeing a 3D picture. The speed of the frames per second is too much for a normal TV. CyberNara
- No, the unfortunate thing is they use shutter glasses, which have been available for decades. I bought the IMAX shutter set about 10 years ago, and the technology is the same. But the frequency that the glasses shutter, is different for 3D-HD. The speed and intensity syncs with the network that broadcasts it, same as the older glasses, which sync to the DVD's that came with it. But they are not compatable, I did try.
- From sky's FAQ: When the channel is activated, all you need to do is switch your TV to 3D mode (please refer to your TV manual for instructions), put on your 3d glasses and enjoy incredible Sky 3D. So you need a 3d Tv.
- sadly no you would have to buy a 3D tv and if i was you i wouldn't buy a 3D tv as they cost loads and they are not even that good. So just wait few years so the prices go down and the 3D effect will be better.
