How to connect my macbook air to my 3D Samsung TV? Do they come with the cords?

Does a Monster cable do anything?

  1. It depends on which MacBook Air you have. You definitely want to convert the video output from your Air to HDMI to your TV, and the first generation (launched in early 2008) had a Micro-DVI output, and the current generation (launched in late 2008) has a Mini DisplayPort output. Assuming that you have the latest generation, you would want to get the Moshi Mini DP to HDMI Adapter with Audio Support from the Apple Store: http://store.apple.com/us/product/H1824ZM/A?mco=MTY3ODQ5OTY You can connect this adapter to the Mini DisplayPort on your Mac, and then you can plug an HDMI cable into the adapter and the TV (which is possibly the Monster cable you have).
