Will I find out results on the 4D baby ultrasound?

routine quad screen at 17weeks showed positive for high risk for trisomy 18, they are sending me for a 4D ultrasound. Can they tell me from that right away if the baby does or does not have trisomy 18? Can you get an diagonosis like that from an ultrasound tech?

1. They will look at measurements to see the likelihood of the common characteristics of Down's kiddos. A small percentage of Down's kiddos also have heart problems that need surgery when they are infants. In a good hospital, they usually have surgeries but are good by their toddler ages. (Open valves, I think.) I hope that you take the time to know about kiddos with Down's fully. They are some of the most happiest, fun-loving sweet kids in the whole world. At school, they tend to be some of the most well-known and likeable, too.
