How would you simplify (25b)(25c)(4d)(4e)?

Example how to simplify: 5x+3y+4y+7=5x+4y+(3+7) =5x+4y+10 You can use Closure properties, Commutative properties, or Associative properties. Closure Properties: For all real numbers a and b: a+b is a unique real number. ab is a unique real number. The sum and product of any two real numbers are also real numbers. Moreover, they are unique. (This means there is one and only one possible answer when you add or multiply two real numbers.) Commutative Properties: For all real numbers a and b: a+b=b+a Example 2+3=3+2 ab=ba example 4×5=5×4 The order in which you add or multiply two numbers does not affect the result. Associative Properties: For all real numbers a and b: (a+b)+c=a+(b+c) Example (5+6)+7=5+(6+7) (ab)c=a(bc) Example (2×3)4=2(3×4) When you add or multiply any three real numbers, the grouping (or association) of the numbers does not affect the result. I did not write that, just typed it from the textbook, Algebra Structure and Method Book 1. So how do you simplify (25b)(25c)(4d)(4e)? (Using the properties listed)

Public Comments

  1. 25*b*25*c*4*d*4*e....25*25*4*4*b*c*d*e=10000*bcde
  2. (25b)(25c)(4d)(4e) = 10000bcde
  3. I think it's (25bc)(4de) (I think... thumbs down me if I'm wrong.)
