What computer specs do you recommend for AutoCAD 2010?

I am currently a student and I know the basics about pc systems. I will be doing simple 2D drawings and 3D renderings. I dont want to know the manufacturers requirements. I'd like to know what kind of processor and graphics card would run CAD smoothly, and for a long time, along with everyday internet use. I was thinking i3 or i5 or some type of duo core, 2.5 GHz and up. Thank you for answering my question. Happy Holidays.

You're not saying WHICH AutoCAD 2010 you're talking about, so I have to refer you to their website for YOU to find the specs. http://usa.autodesk.com/ Then Click on the following / Support / and then / Support & Documentation / Find the product you own. Click on / Knowledge Base /. Scroll down to where you see Documentation. Click on / System Requirements /.
3. Core 2 duo, 2GB RAM and 1G Video Card...enough for 2D/3D task (as minimum specs)
