What are some really good anime movies? (not 3d animated)?

sooo yeah i'm on an anime movie binge and i'm out of my list, just watch the girl who leaped through time and i LOVED IT!!! sooooooo yeah no real specifics, if its sad or depressing then i want it even more :D i don't really want anything from a tv series unless the movie is better than Cowboy bebop's knock'n on heaven's door

1. well you can watch toppa tengen gurren lagann movie and its sadding as one of the main characters dies( which means there are 2 main character) but its a awesome film action wise

4. Anything by Miyazaki, really, if you haven't already seen it. Anything by him is a masterpiece. If you enjoyed The Girl Who Lept Through Time try Summer Wars. They are directed by the same person. 5 Centimeters Per Second is a masterpiece. The animation is simply gorgeous.
