What are better isolation headphones or stereo headphones?
I need to find out before I get new headphones for my new mp3 camera touch ...

- Almost all headphones made today are stereo headphones, including most isolation headphones. Stereo to headphones means simply that each ear can be supplied with a different signal, which allows listening to a stereo signal source. Isolation means that they block out the sound around you to some degree (and, usually also keep others from hearing what you are listening to.) Some people [not including me] find isolation headphones a little uncomfortable, and the loss of cues from your surroundings may take some getting used to. I prefer isolation phones. Additionally there are "active noise cancelling headphones" which can drastically reduce the buzzes and whines associated with some machinery, but allow some outside sound in.
