How old should a child be to watch IMAX 3D movies?

My 3 yr old LOVES the previews for the movie "Born to be Wild" but is only availabel in IMAX 3D. I am afraid she will get scared by the 3D effects. Any other parents out there have taken their young kids to see it? Thanks.

1. My mothers friend took her 3 year old to see a film in 3D and he loved it! I think you should take her, she just might enjoy it!
