Ideas for making a 3D model house?

I have to make a 3D model of my dream house for a project at school, but I have no idea what materials to use. I'm using foam board for the basic walls and floors buuuut.. What can I use to make the furniture and stuff?

  1. You could use like doll house furniture, or something like that... and you could paint the walls with normal paint... have fun, it sounds like a cool project
  2. You can use doll house furniture or some of the furniture from "toys" like Legos , Playmobile, various little things in toy stores, etc. And craft stores like Michaels/etc sometimes have small unpainted "furniture" too. But you can also make all or some of them yourself (from very simple ones to more complicated ones) using balsa wood, cardboard of various kinds, cardstock/index cards, sheets of "craft foam," even paper, fabric, felt, aluminum foil and any other stuff from around the house... or from hardenable "clays" of various kinds (for the whole pieces or just parts of them): http://sewing.bluedinosaurs.com/dollhouse_furniture_wood.html http://images.google.com/images?q=how+to+make+dollhouse+furniture+cardstock+cardboard printables (fold) http://images.google.com/images?q=printables+dollhouse+furniture http://glassattic.com/polymer/miniatures.htm (click on "Furniture" and also "Furnishings") and maybe: http://glassattic.com/polymer/houses_structures_gingerbread.htm ...many of the items on those pages are made from polymer clay, but many things could be made with purchased or homemade "air-dry" clays as well: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100621051506AA53JtD .
