What should I do about this Cinema 4D Problem?

I am running Windows XP and am trying to use Cinema 4D R12 Studio. However, whenever I try to use it, the computer freezes and eventually a box will pop up stating that a driver has had a problem. Then, the screen on the monitor will shrink to about a quarter of the normal size (with the rest of it being black), forcing me to restart the computer. What can I do to fix this problem? All help is appreciated.

1. It would help if you posted what exactly comes up in the error box, without this info nobody here can really help you.
