Do most low-end microphones record 3D sound?

My guess would be that most don't, but I have no knowledge of microphones. For example, would my Logitech microphone from guitar hero pick up 3d sound, so it could essentially be played in 3D, or as surround sound? Bryce, I don't really understand what you're saying. Perhaps I didn't really mean surround sound, I think stereo should do.

1. You can get programs that simulate the sound into 3D sound but they can only record in stereo other wise. Hope this helps :)
